Employee Rewards

Our people are our greatest asset and they rise to the challenges faced by the hospitality industry every single day both in our restaurants and our support centre.

Our ‘We Care’ employee support package provides help for employees on mental and physical health and wellbeing, with quick and easy access to health professionals alongside our in-house Mental Health First Aiders. In addition, we have invested in a financial wellbeing platform that offers employee access to tools enabling them to manage their personal finances, saving options and financial coaching and information.

We offer a range of benefits with discounted gym membership and employees, their family and friends are able to enjoy discounts to visitor attractions and in all Big Table restaurant brands. Recognising and appreciating our employees is hugely important as we believe that this helps them to thrive and be more engaged in what they do which in turn leads to positive experiences for our guests.

Apprenticeships

We need to do more as a sector to promote the hospitality industry as an attractive career prospect for young people. Apprenticeships provide a great platform to do this, which is why we’ve partnered with industry leading supplier, Remit Training, to deliver apprenticeships across our growing chain of restaurants.

This partnership is an important step in the development of our business and our people. We are working with each of our brands to deliver a bespoke apprenticeship programme that supports the career development for existing staff and new recruits in kitchen, front of house and management roles, and currently have 75 people completing apprenticeships.

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion plays a big part in the ESG agenda. One of our values is ‘Respect Everyone’. We are committed to creating a diverse, fair and culturally inclusive environment that allows all employees to have a voice and is reflective of the communities we serve. We have started to survey employees to collect personal data that will allow us to ensure we have an inclusive culture and make better D, E & I decisions. Throughout the year we will be recognising and celebrating events that are important to different employee groups as we continue with our inclusion journey to recognise and celebrate our differences.
